A variety of fitness classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced exercisers.

The small class sizes allow the instructor to modify your workout and keep you safer.


Improve aerobic conditioning, flexibility, coordination, strength and endurance.


Class Descriptions:

30min AB Circuit

--The most important aspect of your body is the core region.
--Your core is made up of several important muscles, not just the abdominals.
--Using isometrics and dynamic movements – we will help you build your core strength –  
achieving better performance, a slimmer waistline, & pain prevention.


The Belly Dance ABC's is exactly that! 

This is an "Absolute Beginner's Class" where you will learn the ABC's of Belly Dance!  We will go over the very basic moves that all the dancers use.  Each move will be broken down step by step...with an explanation of what muscles to engage to effectively execute the moves.  This class is literally "hands-on" and constructive feedback will be provided.  The environment will be fun-filled and you can use your new Belly Dance moves RIGHT AWAY, and feel beautiful doing so!   This class is designed for YOUR learning, YOUR enjoyment and YOUR success!


Blue Collar Boot Camp
Swing…Shovel…Shift…Chop…Flip!

--Do you have this kind of job? This class will help you achieve better form and more efficient movement

--You don’t ?  You will improve your strength and power, your tone, and burn some calories. 

--By definition, a blue-collar worker performs manual labor – physical work – functional maneuvering of heavy objects with odd shapes & sizes. 

--Your tools for success: kettlebells, ViPRs, battling ropes, sledge hammer, slam balls, etc.  

Full Spectrum Stretch
--Experience the benefits of flexibility exercises without the intimidating yoga name.

--We will combine a range of stretches, designed for your entire body, head-to-toe. 

--Various stretching techniques will be used to help prevent injury and allow your body to move with a greater range of motion.

SPARTAN SGX
--Increase cardiovascular endurance, improve agility, and burn tons of calories surrounded by nature.
--The surrounding neighborhood of Retroactive Fitness will be your playground, including Gardella Park and The Bronx River Trail.
--Whether you are training for a Spartan Race or just want to get outside the ordinary cover of the gym setting, this outdoor boot camp will be sure to give you exactly what you’re looking for and more!

REEL 3D Sculpt
(Rotational Exercise for Every Level in 3 Dimensions)
--Rotational and multi-directional movement are combined to sculpt and tone your body.

--The natural circular patterns will activate neglected muscles and create synergy. 

--Each movement will be given in a way that all fitness levels will benefit.

Superhuman: The Class

--A unique fitness experience which tells a story through movement.

Utilizes a dynamic mixture of Spartan SGX, kickboxing/boxing, dance, plyometrics, agility, strength, and power movements – accompanied by an energetic playlist.

--Designed by certified trainer, Maurice Johnson, this class will push you beyond your typical limits using special motivational techniques that will support you through not only the workout but through life!

--The goal of this class is transformation – mentally, physically, and spiritually. It will have you feeling accomplished, empowered and perhaps a little more Superhuman.
